Day-to-Day Journey

Arrive in Baku, get welcomed by a local rep & take private transfer to your luxury accommodation. Relax for a while and get ready for an evening panoramic tour of Baku. Visiting the Highland Park , the highest point of the city where opens an amazing view to the city. Here you have a chance to take a photo with the iconic Flame Towers on background. Continue tour driving along seaside 

boulevard before dropping to an Italian restaurant for indulging dinner.

Meet your private guide and depart for Gobustan reserve, a historical monument under the UNESCO protection, about 60 kilometres of Baku. During the tour learn about its mysterious ancient history, exploring remains of once inhabited caves, natural grottoes, petroglyphs – rock carvings of stone age inhabitants and ancient labyrinths. Afterwards head to explore mud volcanoes to see the world’s largest mud volcanoes – Boyuk Khanizadagh and Turaghai. Back in Baku, explore Azerbaijan National Carpet museum with unique examples of the carpet weaving art, you will also have an opportunity to become a craftsman for a day, diving into the history of the craft, learning about various techniques and trying them out personally. Enjoy rest of the evening walking along Baku Boulevard which is the favorite promenade of many city residents and visitors and the second largest in Europe. The Boulevard area includes a number of museums, cultural facilities, malls and entertainment centres, including the modern panoramic amusement ride – the Ferris Wheel, which has a beautiful view over Baku Bay. Today enjoy dinner in Indian restaurant

Shahdag Mountain Resort takes its name from the majestic mount Shahdag, towering at an impressive 4243 meters above sea level. This stunning peak is part of the magnificent Greater Caucasus range. It serves as a gateway to thrilling adventures and memorable experiences on the slopes. Enjoy ride on Shahdag Coaster a family thrill ride offering unforgettable adrenaline rushes, while more activities including day spa facilities are on offer on optional basis.

Meet your guide and depart for Absheron tour. Start with the visit to “Ateshgah”- a fire-worshipping temple, which was a shrine at different times for Zoroastrians, Hindus and Sikhs. This area was known from the ancient times because of a unique natural phenomenon as burning outlets of natural gas and considered by fire-worshipers as a mystical place who came here to worship. The current temple dates back to the 17th century and consists of a pentagonal complex with an open courtyard in the middle of which is a temple altar. Follow with traditional tea in Ateshgah restaurant. Afterwards visit Heydar Aliyev Center – one of the world’s most dramatic 21st century architectural statements. Inside checkout Classic car exhibition, displaying 60 rare retro cars manufactured in different countries in the late XIX century. Enjoy lunch at leisure and then let us take you underground to see view of Baku that only few tourists have seen: from the Metro. When its construction began it was one of the first subterranean railways of the then Soviet Union. Baku Metro can offer a range of curious insights – historical, cultural and artistic. The tour reveals many of the system’s lesser known quirks, and our knowledgeable guide helps you understand in context what you’re looking at from the Soviet-era designs to characters depicted in station mosaics. End your day with dinner at a traditional Azerbaijan restaurant.

Meet your guide at comfortable time for Old city tour. Start with short walking tour in the oldest part of the city “Icheri sheher”- UNESCO protected World Heritage Site. During the excursion walking along through cobblestone narrow streets of the old city surrounded by 12th century walls will visit one of Azerbaijan symbols Maiden Tower – historical monument with a panoramic view on the top, 15th century residence of former Shirvan rulers – Shirvanshah Palace, medieval Caravanserais (Multani, Bukhara), mosques with the calligraphy writings on facade, old traditional hammams, antiques and souvenir shops, authentic local restaurants, Art studio of Ali Shamsi– famous Azerbaijan artist who creates unique art installations. 

Afterwards take private transfer to Baku Airport
