Day-to-Day Journey

Arrive Perth & you shall meet your driver for transfer to your accommodation. Welcome to a designer Oasis, check in to your boutique style room. Relax and unwind, as the evening dawns, you may go to Roof Top at QT to soak in expansive views of the Perth skyline with a sundowner or follow it up by an Italian inspired dinner at your hotel’s restaurant.

From Perth’s Barrack Street Jetty take ferry to Rottnest Island. Join a comprehensive shared guided tour of the Rottnest Island allowing you to explore the stunning beauty of the Island, taking in the amazing fauna and flora of the island, stunning beaches, woodlands and salt lakes. You shall see Wadjemup Lighthouse, Henrietta Rocks, Oliver Hill Gun Fortification and Tunnels and the majestic look-out point at the rugged Cathedral Rocks and Cape Vlamingh – finishing with a unique historic train ride. Enjoy a light meal & take ferry back to Perth. Why not click a photo or two outside the iconic Bell Tower in the back drop and explore various waterfront pubs, café and restaurant in area surrounding the jetty for a relaxing drink and dinner before heading back to your hotel.

Have a comfortable start of the day and collect your rental car for next 5 nights and 6 days. Go to Willy Creek Pearls in Elizabeth Quay for a 30 minutes session that includes pearl discovery presentation, a live pearl harvest, pearl valuation and selection and guided introduction to showroom. Follow this by visiting Perth Mint to take an hour long tour where you join the guided Heritage walk & watch a gold pour- during which pure gold is heated to molten temperatures, as it cools, transforming into a solid gold bar. Visit The Gold Exhibition- Marvel at the largest coin ever made, weighing one tonne of pure gold. You may even engrave your own Medallion and visit Perth Mint Shop to check exotic jewelry made with precious stones like Argyle Pink Diamonds and South Sea Pearls. Post lunch head for Fremantle, approx. 30 minutes drive from Perth CBD. Here you may want to explore Fremantle Prison or head for Fremantle Markets to enjoy the distinctive atmosphere of over a hundred years of vibrant culture and heritage. Relax at Bathers beach lounge with nibbles as you watch the sun set. Later come back to Perth and enjoy a fine dinner in one of the Perth’s favourite restaurant.

Check out, take your car and drive towards Margaret River. The region is an award-winning wine country with a thriving art scene, sheltered bays, vineyards and surf coast. Other attractions in the area include caves, light houses and the longest wooden-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. In the first leg drive down from your Perth Hotel to the port city of Bunbury which is located approx. 170 Kms from Perth CBD (approx. 2.5-3 hours drive). Here you may break for lunch at Victoria Street known for cute, independent shops, restaurants, small bars. Head further on to reach Margaret River Region, time permitting (not included) you go for Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse tour, located approx. 95 Kms from Bunbury (approx. 1.5-2 hours drive). The guided tower tour lasts for about 30 minutes in which you climb the easy 59-stairs to the top balcony of the Lighthouse, providing incredible views of the Indian Ocean and besides gaining insight into the functions of this working lighthouse. From here your boutique sea side accommodation is just few minutes drive. Reach and Check into your beautiful resort nestled on the white sands of Bunker Bay, boasting a beach access. Remaining day at leisure to enjoy facilities of the resort with a dip in the resort’s pool or wellness therapy at resort’s Spa or simply relaxing at the beach.

Start your day with drive to Busselton Jetty located approx. 35 Kms from the resort (approx. 45 minutes drive). The jetty extends 1.8 kilometres, this heritage listed Busselton Jetty is the longest wooden-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. Here take Underwater Observatory tour that happens every hour between 09:00- 16:00 and takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete. Starts with a relaxing train ride along the length of the Jetty with 360-degree views across the Indian Ocean. Then descend 8-metres below the ocean’s surface that lead through the natural wonders a forest of vividly-coloured tropical and sub-tropical corals, sponges and fish. Afterwards drive down to visit Australian artisan jewellery workshop, John Miller Design renowned for creating bespoke rings and wearable pieces of art, reflecting all things beautiful in the dramatic Australian landscape. Enjoy lunch at one of the farm gates or boutique restaurants then in early evening reach Ngilgi Cave in Yallingup. This 1.5 hour eco tour allows experiencing a short bushwalk to discover traditional medicine plants then extending into the Cave hear the spine-tingling sounds of the didgeridoo played deep inside the Earth. From here come back to your accommodation to unwind.

Today start your day at a leisurely pace and check out from your beautiful resort to head back to Perth. On the way for lunch or snacks you may stop at Dolphin Quay at the Mandurah Ocean Marina, located approx. 195 Kms from Bunker Bay (approx. 3 hours drive). Enjoy a range of dining experiences from Cafe, Tavern, Restaurants & more including Indian restaurant. Finally head to your stunning hotel Crown Metropol Perth located at approx. 72 Kms from here (approx. 1-1.5 hours drive). Check in at this heart of entertainment district. You may take a dip in the inviting pools, wet up your appetite for delectable meal at any of the restaurants, visit bars or nightclub and try your luck at the casino.
