After breakfast, your private guide takes you for a tour of The City Palace Museum. The Museum is in fact a series of palaces, built from the seventeenth to the twentieth centuries, spatially divided into royal private areas and public zones. Each of the palaces represents unique architectural styles and materials. Rare murals on the walls and ceilings, glass inlay work, original paintings and artefacts are spread over 20,000 square metres. After lunch, attend miniature painting workshop where you learn about the art and create your very own masterpiece to take home. End tour with evening boat ride on Lake Pichola: Fringed with hills, gardens, havelis, ghats and temples, Lake Pichola is the scenic focus of Udaipur. The picturesque boat ride on Lake Pichola not only provides the best scenic view of the lake and the mountains in the city, but also presents some of the most important historical monuments dotted along the lakeside. After breakfast, drive to Narlai (Approx 125 Kms/ 3.5 hours). The village of Narlai derives its name from saint Narada, who is believed to have meditated on a hill which lies at the center of the village. On arrival in Narlai, check in the hotel, have lunch & go for leopard safari in late afternoon (sightings not guaranteed). The rugged Godward countryside around Narlai is an ideal site for leopards and subsequently, the leopard population in this region has increased, interestingly no boundary exists between the leopards and people of Narlai. In the evening, enjoy an unusual dinner experience at the Stepwell. Some moments tend to stay with you for the rest of your life. This morning start the day with Jeep Safari to explore desert wilderness. Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan after Jaipur, and is encircled by a high 10 km long wall.
